Surprise Trip

So on Saturday my parents surprised us with a trip to San Diego! It was so much fun! On Monday we went to Knott's Berry Farm then on Tuesday we went to see the USS Midway! I was a nice short trip we also spent some time playing soccer at the beach and  to see the San Diego Temple.

 The best way to end a day is with some Funnel cake!

The USS Midway is huge. This is on the flight deck where the planes would land!

This first picture is of the bunks the enlisted men slept in. There was only two feet of space between each bed. The second picture is of a statue of the famous picture on V-J Day and my parents are re-enacting it HAHA!

P.S. In all the picture of us at the USS Midway, we all have head phones and a little radio thing. At different parts of the ship it would tell you to push in a number and it would tell you about whatever it was... so there was a lot of talking then realizing they weren't listening to you and lots of talking way to loud. (:

10 days till Christmas

So school is finally over!, and Christmas is well on its way. These past weeks have really been a test. It started when I lost $20 at Walmart and when that's half of all your money and you still have to buy presents it's not the easiest thing to shake off then I lost my keys after school and had to get a ride to my internship and it just went down hill from there. So I'm just trying to focus on the positive, like I said Christmas is almost here and I can't wait and since there are ten more days here are my

TEN favorite things about Christmas!

Anchorage, Alaska!!!!!!!!!!

My older brother Cody just got his mission call on Saturday!!! He is going to Anchorage, Alaska! We are SO excited for him! My brother wanted to suprise my sister who is also on a mission in Uruguay she was so excited for him. Its going to be really hard with both of them gone. He leaves Feburary 22 and she comes back around the end of May so they won't see each other for a while. I love having a missionary out. You can really feel the blessings you get from their service. They are both such good examples to me. I can't wait to see what they will both be like when they get back.

Giving Blood

On Tuesday my friends and I thought it would be fun if we donated some blood. I was fine at first but it all went down hill from there but I didn't pass out and I was so thankful for that. For the rest of the day I felt horrible and I said that I would never do it again. But my Uncle told me that the first time is always the worst so I think I will try it again. It was bitter sweet because it makes you sick but you save people's lives! Did you know that only FIVE percent of Americans are eligible to give blood! that is so crazy! I don't think I could have done it without my friends every time I saw them I could breath a little easier just knowing that I wasn't alone even it they were passed out or laying on the ground with their feet in the air. It feels good to make a difference.

Make a Wish!!!

Lots of growing up to do.

This past week all I have wanted to do was lay in bed, read Children of The Promise, and eat potato soup... and that is all I have done. I'm almost done applying to BYU-I! and I realize I can't do this anymore. Last Sunday I had a meeting with my bishop and he gave me lots of really good advice about college, he told me to make sure that I try and get the most out of my education and to always do my homework right after class. I know this seem like "ya duh" but it really opened my eyes. I AM going to college in like ten months that's nothing a year ago Cara left for Uruguay it goes by fast. I want to start some new better habits. If i write these down I'm more likely to stay with it.

1st. I want to be better at doing my math homework. I know I would do better in class if I did better at home.

2nd. I want to be better at keeping my room clean. If I try on something and end up not wearing it I need to hang it back up. I know Maddie will appreciate me being cleaner for the future.

3rd. I want to eat better. I tried to start eating more organic but then Halloween came...

4th. less TV. I want to start only watching TV on the weekends.

5th. Be better at personal scripture study.

I love Halloween!!! It reminds me of my sister her favorite Holiday is Halloween and a year ago she gave her farewell talk on Halloween! It crazy how fast time goes by. this Halloween I didn't really do much on Saturday I went to my ward Halloween party and we had some family come down from Kingman and last night we went to the fire station to carve pumpkins with my Dad! Hopefully tonight will be fun!

Pinetop

This past week I went to Pinetop with my Mom and two little brothers. It was so nice to be able to escape the everyday world and go up there. The weather was so nice and the leaves actually change colors!!! I was able to read and just spend time with my family and made so good memories that I will never forget! and if you are wondering why I'm smelling a tree its because it was a Ponderosa pine and they smell like butterscotch!!

Kenpo

Carson just started a kenpo club (it's like karate). He has been showing us all his crazy move! He could take me down before he was in kenpo I don't even want to know what he could do now.

Weekend & Fall Break

It is finally the weekend!!! OH BOY do I NEED it!!! And to make it even better its Fall break so I don't have school all next week!!!!!

I love him.

10 things that are making me terribly happy

1. When you get done with all your homework and you can finally relax.
2. the butterfly's I get before a soccer game. I've played since I was four but I still get nervous before EVERY game.
3. Family Home Evening. When I know everyone in my family is safe and happy.
4. When I walk outside in the morning and the air is actually pretty cool.
5. When you go on a date and you don't talk about the weather.(:
6. laying on the trampoline in my back yard when the sun is setting and the air is still its so peaceful.
7. picking my little brothers up from school and hearing about how their day was they always make me laugh!
8. when I'm late for seminary and I hit all green lights.
9. staying home all day on Sunday and watching General Conference with my family.
10. Frozen grapes I can never get enough!!!

I love my life.

I had so much fun this year at homecoming. I wish life could stay this simple.

6 More Days Till Fall

I can't wait I love the whole autumn season. I just don't really like that it doesn't really feel like Fall till around October. When I grow up I want to live someplace where the leaves change colors and it starts getting cold in the fall. I can't wait to be able to where sweaters and boots!

Three Day Weekend

Oh how I love the weekend! And even better a THREE day weekend! I'm bumbed because my Aunt ,Uncle, and cousins were going to come down but one of them got pink eye and my mom is sick so they couldn't come. But a guy in my ward had extra tickets to a U of A football game so four of us could go. My dad, Carson, chase, and I got to go it was so much fun! We got pretty good seats and it was a really good game! We played NAU and beat the 30 something to 10! I love spending time with my family! Next time we need to get tickets for everyone.

The past week!

Ironwood Ridge High School (my school) killed CDO High School (our rival school) at football! 28-7!!!!

Went and ate at Nico's a delicious Mexican food restaurant!

Had my best friends MADDIE'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!!

I got an internship at an elementary school I help out with the K-2 special needs kids they are so cute!

summer is over

It's a sad sad week, Wednesday i went back to school. This summer went by way to fast. I did do a lot of fun stuff though like...

going to the fire station,

                                                                 going to the water park,

                                                                   going to eegee's,

                                                               going shopping with Maddie,

                                                     going to Cinderella with my cousins and,

                                                     going to rocks & ropes with the fam!!


I am so excited and scared for my Senior year. I like all my teachers and i hope they like me. Well wish me luck on my LAST year of HIGH SCHOOL!!!!!!!
