Happy Thanksgiving!

I am just so full of gratitude today! I love Thanksgiving and I am so thankful that I was able to come home so I could be with my family and reflect on all the things
I am thankful for/ make me terribly happy.

10 things that make me terribly happy

1. The love and support I get from my friends and family, I know I take this for granted but if it weren't for my friends and family I'm not sure who I would be.

2. The opportunity to go to school and be anything I want, I have the whole world at my fingertips I can do anything I want and I can be anything I want.

3. I was born into the Church, It scares me to think about my life without it.

4. My childhood, as I think back on my life I am always filled with happy memories. I had the best time as a child with my siblings I wish I could go back to those days.

5. I am going to be an Aunt in the coming year! I cannot wait to spoil that child!

6. Letters from missionaries, I have so many friends out on missions and Cody is almost done. I love getting letters and emails from them and to hear about the experiences they are having, they always strengthen my testimony and make me so happy.

7. Fostering Anise, I love that little girl with all of my heart and I hope and pray that she will have the best life. She has the gift to bring so much happiness into a persons life and I know she will be able to use that gift her whole life.

8. Food specifically my Mom's cooking, being away from home and having to cook for myself always makes me extra thankful for my Mom and the yummy food she always makes.

9. My health, I have never broken any major bones (only a fractured thumb) or gotten any scary diseases.

10. The peace and love I have had in my life. I have such a good life; I have everything I could possibly want and more. I have never had to go through anything super tragic and most of my love ones are still alive and I get to see them all the time.

I hope everyone has a great day today and that you keep in mind what today is all about. There is so much to be thankful for and you get to think about them all day while you EAT it doesn't get much better than that!

Melissa & Bryant Engagement Video

Here is the video I made for my roommate. She got engaged on Monday! I am sooo happy for them; they are so in love and happy. I feel like when you see a couple and they truly love each other, everything they do just seems like a fairytale. Mel and Bryant are just like that they really are perfect for each other. One of my favorite parts of this video is when Mel is showing everyone her ring and Bryant is just looking and smiling at her. I can't wait to see what life has in store for them. It was a fun night for everyone, we went roller-skating for family home evening and I haven't been roller-skating for a while so I had a blast... and I didn't fall once!

Halloween Package

So I'm back at BYU-Idaho, I'm living with three of the same girls as last semester and two new ones. I love them so much! I'm still studying communications with an emphasis in Visual communications. This is my third semester and it has defiantly been the hardest. I have so much homework and I'm on two soccer teams but I'm having so much fun. I am the visiting teaching coordinator in my ward, which is a lot of fun, I get to meet so many of the girls in my ward and they are so sweet and such a good example to me. Last week was crazy and Saturday was the first day this semester that I didn't have to go anywhere so I stayed home all day, and it was so nice. The best part was when my roommates came back from getting the mail and told me I had a package! It was from my Grandma Sue (my mom's mom) it was full of candy and Halloween decorations. It was seriously the best! I am so thankful for my family. Saturday was my AMAZING Dad's birthday and I was able to Skype my family as they sang to him and he blew out the candles on his cake. It made me miss them like crazy, but it also reminded me of how important family is. I'm taking a family foundations class right now and I'm learning so much about the purpose of family and how an eternal family can bring you more happiness and joy than anything else in the world. I feel so grateful to have the gospel in my life and the knowledge it comes with.

THE GEM STATE

Since I decide to move to Coeur d'Alene everyone tell me how beautiful it is here and now I know why. There are pine trees everywhere and the weather is perfect. I'm staying with Olivia Sparks my roommate/ sister-in-law (Thomas's little sister). Her family is so welcoming and fun, I'm so thankful for them letting me live with them till school starts September 15th. This summer has been perfect and it just keeps on getting better and better!

Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is my favorite Holiday! Usually when I say that people look at me like I'm insane but I believe that you don't have to have a special someone to have a happy Love day! It's just a day to tell those you love that you love them and that you are thankful for them in your life. This has meant even more to me this year, my great grandma passed away this week and I never got to tell her how much I love her. Thank goodness I have the Church in my life and know that I will see her again but it just reminded me to not take life for granted. I never want to regret not telling someone that
I love them.
Here's some pictures of today, video coming soon.

Happy New Year

Even though 2012 has been one of my favorite years in my life I have to say that This New Year’s Eve will always be one of my favorites. If I have learned anything this year it would be to always try to make the best out of situations and to be thankful for every second you have to sum it up to just enjoy life. This year I…

§  had a brother go on a mission
§  met Benny Feilhaber
§  graduated High school
§  fostered the cutest baby ever
§  got my first job
§  turned 18
§  got my first speeding ticket (not happy)
§  my sister came home from Uruguay
§  my brother got engaged
§  started college
§  got my first church calling (Sunday school teacher)
§  my sister got engaged
§  my sister got married
§  and met so many new people and learned tons of new things

If you’re wondering what made this New Year’s Eve so great I was just the spontaneousness (not sure if that's a word) of the night that made it so much fun. first I did all the family stuff saw a movie and went bowling, then I went to a party which was fun but not as exciting as I hoped so me and a few of my friends left and went to a restaurant to get some food by that time it was about 11:00pm after the waiter sat us down he handed us a beverage menu and told us they were no longer serving food I guess he thought we were old enough to drink... so we awkwardly walked out and started to think of a new plan. After much discussion Julia and I decided to go to the institute dance which was pretty far away. So we booked it down town and ended up going to the wrong dance instead of going to the university dance we went to the 30+ adult dance... we ran out laughing our head off and then I biffed it on the curb. It was 15min till midnight and we decided to go to the institute and follow through our plan we showed up just after the countdown barely missed it but we didn’t care we were determined to be happy and have fun.

Happy New Year 2013!!!
